COMMENCEMENT PREP

THIS IS THE SITE OF THE 12TH GRADE STUDENTS, READYING THEMSELVES TO HEAD ACROSS THE THRESHOLD AND TOWARD A NEW STEP IN THEIR LIVES.
Let's get you ready.  We only have a handful of weeks left...

POINT #1

Graduate, God is calling for you to be a Christian leader.  Be careful to use this opportunity to glorify Him.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.   -Acts 20:28

POINT #2

If pride becomes a part of your leadership, you are not a very good leader.

The authority by which the Christian leader leads is not power but love, not force but example, not coercion but reasoned persuasion. Leaders have power, but power is safe only in the hands of those who humble themselves to serve.     -John Stott

POINT #3

A leader of any worth is a leader who can serve.

But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant.            -Matthew 20:26

Remember that mentor leadership is all about serving. Jesus said, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45).

-Tony Dungy, former NFL coach
